Joe Wismann

Joe Wismann is the Director of Operations at Brammo, Inc. – a Talent business manufacturing lithium ion batteries for a wide range of customers and applications.  He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY and is a retired US Army Colonel. 

Joe has been a maker since he installed a steering wheel on his bicycle at age 11.

Tom Cline grew up in New Jersey before moving out to Oregon in 2012 to be a manager at a major retailer in Medford.  In 2011 he completed a 6 month thru hike of the Appalachian trail. He is a woodworker and an aspiring metal worker.

Darby Stricker is the current mayor of Talent, Oregon. She has been a Talent City Official since 2001. Her other board affiliations include Jackson County Fire District 5 and Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development, as well as several other governmental positions.  As a City Official, as well as Certified Administrator by Cornell University in the hospitality industry, Darby endeavors to enable the direct connection between creating a regional reputation for product innovation and drawing attention to our locally based economy in order to realize a robust “live where you work prosperity”.

Alli French is a long-time educator and maker. She has been teaching, mentoring and collaborating with the Ashland, Medford and Phoenix-Talent School Districts for over twenty years. As a maker, she is the proud owner of RefunktionedArt, where she makes new things out of old materials.

Stephanie has been a lawyer for 20 years, and her practice also includes Native American issues, employment law, family law, estate planning, and appellate practice.

Karen Rycheck is a maker of mosaic, clay, and multi-medium art and an advocate of public and community art. She holds a BFA from Webster University in St. Louis and an extremely varied resume of jobs including woodworker, baker, organic gardener, tile maker and now a mosaic artist at missmosaic.com.

Ryan Wilcoxson has owned and operated a media design and development company for the last 12 years. His professional background is in film, animation, and graphic design. He's been a maker his entire life and when he's not behind a computer, can most often be found in his garage, covered in sawdust.
