Did you know that for every inch of rain that falls on a 1,000 sq. ft. roof there's roughly 600 gallons of water going down the drain!?!? Rain barrels are an efficient way to catch some of that water and store it for future use! In this workshop, you’ll use basic hand and power tools to construct your own rain barrel, learn how to harvest rainwater from your roof, store it, and use it in your landscaping.

Come join us for this workshop designed specifically with beginners in mind! This will be a supportive and fun learning environment for women to develop basic carpentry skills. You will learn how to accurately cut and assemble pieces to make your own storage crate. You’ll use multiple tools for this one (table saw, miter saw, drills) and be well on your way to other cool projects.
