Join our ceramics instructor Lisa Shinohara for three hours of wheel time with instructional support.
Three hours of wheel time!? Yes, you read that right!
For throw down day, you'll receive up to 10 pounds of clay and three hours of time at the makerspace to throw on the wheel! You'll start the class by learning how to wedge your clay and divide it into specific weights to help build consistency in your throwing practice. During class, Lisa can help you refine skills, give tutorials and demonstrations to help further your throwing understanding and comfort on the wheel. Come join us to connect and learn from other pottery enthusiasts while you bring your pieces to life!
Help us move into the new building! If you make a piece that you would like to keep, please sign up for a glaze class ($15), have TMC clear glaze your piece ($10), or pick up your bisque-fired pieces (free) before June 14th.
