Join ceramicist Summer Brendlinger of Kilned with Kindness on Friday mornings at Talent Maker City for a cup o’ joe and to work with clay! You will learn various hand-building techniques to create functional pottery, including slabs, coils, pinch pots, and more. And get to hang with some great people, in a creative space, while drinking coffee (or tea, chai, mate, etc)

Meet the instructor, Summer Brendlinger, of Kilned with Kindness. Summer began working and falling in love with clay in high school, and went on to study at SOU. She has a masters and 14 year background in elementary education. She has since stepped out of the conventional classroom and currently teaches ceramics while growing her small artisan business. Her love of ceramics and the process shows in each of her classes, which blend her love of the artform and instruction. She has a focus on functional pieces made on the wheel and through various other techniques. You can feel the love in every piece!
