3D Printing Open Studio - POSTPONED

  • Talent Maker City 304 E Main St. Talent, OR 97540 (map)

POSTPONED

Join us for open studio time with the 3D printing department at Talent Maker City! Participants will have guided access to slicing software on Talent Maker City computers (or your own) and Prusa i3 MK3S 3D printers.

3D printing open studio time is designed for intermediate and advanced hobbyists who would like more time with printing. A TMC staff member will be available for shared support with participants. If you are a beginner and need instruction, please visit our workshop calendar for introduction classes before attending open studio.

This is the soft start of Open Studio time at Talent Maker City! Because of our tight quarters in our current space, our full community workshops, and our robust student programming, Open Studio time will be limited.

The cost includes use of our Prusa i3 MK3S 3D printers and a maximum of 200 grams of TMC’s PLA filament. You can also bring in your own PLA or PETG filament if it is 1.75 mm in diameter and non-abrasive (no wood or other material filled filaments).

Ages: 18+
Capacity: Up to 4 Makers
Facilitator: Berkeley Skuratowicz

Workshop gift certificate codes do not automatically work for open studio time. However, you can redeem your gift certificate by emailing info@talentmakercity.org

Everyone belongs at a TMC workshop! To make this dream a reality, we keep our prices as low as possible. And we offer partial and full scholarships so that everyone can experience the fun at TMC.

If you want more information about a scholarship, please email makeit@talentmakercity.org. We respect your confidentiality.

And, if you in turn, would like to  help bring someone to a TMC workshop, please make a “pay it forward” donation on TMC’s website! Keep the love going forward.

Meet the facilitator, Berkeley Skuratowicz! Berkeley was raised in the Rogue Valley and is a recent graduate of Oregon State University, earning a degree in engineering. She is interested in the intersection of design and technology, and will soon be studying design at San Francisco State University.  One of her main passions is 3D printing; she has spent over 5 years using and maintaining 3D printers. She also loves creating things using CNC machines, woodworking, and metalworking. Some of her other hobbies include reading, mountain biking, rock climbing, and exploring the trails around the Rogue Valley.
